This project takes place over 3 days, during which 25 participants are invited to share in a creative process: making the modules that make up the tower, manipulating the tower to grasp its amplitude and weight, coordination and non-verbal communication exercises, learning and then rehearsing the performance according to a precise partition. The tower echoes the group on the ground as it rises, falls and sways, its presence linked, concentrated and connected as it works together. They are individuals in action, with their bodies, their experiences, their desires; a deliberately ephemeral reality that takes shape for as long as everyone is together to activate it.
The oversized scale of the installation highlights its utopian dimension, which, by coordinating efforts and desires, becomes a reality; a technical challenge that can be envisaged because each person finds their place, becomes responsible and a stakeholder in the collective gesture.
The project culminates in a performance presented in the public space (approximately 50 minutes).
The creative residencies took the form of 8 participatory workshops involving a total of around a hundred people. A photo gallery retraces these workshops and performances.
