This piece explores the relationship between the body and objects such a beam, a stone or a car tire.
Balancing and opposing become fundamental actions in witch the body and the objects share their presence and enrich each other. A dynamic relationship of forces and materials that explores movement and time.
With this work, I’m interested by the way an impulse attacks, deploys and ends.

‘Little by little, the bric-a-brac is turned into sculpture. The viewer is drawn into the game of guessing the lines of tension. With bicycle frames and sprockets, Jordi Galí becomes an XXL watchmaker.’
"When you realise how meticulous the work is, you understand how important it is to have it at a dance festival. Handling elements such as iron planks and weights, small stones and straps, the structure above all needs the body as support, restraint, calculation, proportion. A series of apparently simple actions for the construction of the final installation, which when it emerges, sends us back to a dreamlike relationship with the installation, overcoming and realising its impossibility."
‘the Spanish choreographer has created a sound architecture in wood, built around a system of balance and equilibrium. It is the performer, embedded inside, who articulates the full and the empty while reconfiguring it. This strange machine is called T. Quite simply. To express the perfect moment when the cogs reach a kind of state of grace?
‘A delicate installation, a kind of poetic suspension’.
‘His first creation, entitled T, (...) made a lasting impression. Like a sculptor, he brings together and sets in tension a heterogeneous collection of objects salvaged from the streets (...) he deploys his talents as a choreographer on unstable ground (...) and comes close to a noble, demanding and poetic street art.’
