ORA (Orée)

ORA (Orée) : Edge, margin, coast, bank, shore, frontier, passage, threshold, limit.

The piece is based on a search for the "space in between": between the animate and the inanimate, the presence and the absence, the human and the non-human, the natural and the artificial, shadow and light... It is constructed as a journey from black to colour, playing with the superposition and simultaneity of a palette of heterogeneous objects, images and states that coexist in the machinery of the theatre, as in a dream.
The trio of performers is joined by a multiplicity of figures, doubles and reflections, creating landscapes and imaginary worlds in constant transformation.
ORA (Orée) creates an extension between the material and the immaterial by building ephemeral fictions in which the objects, in relation to the body, act as filters, echoes or passages, themselves becoming active.
