An ethno-fictional investigation into marginal or invisible knowledge

The Marginália project will be divided into two parts. A research phase, «Traços do Brasil», in Brazil, followed by a period of creative residencies in France and Europe starting in june 2026, with a public premiere during the 2026/2027 season.
«Traços do Brasil» will go in search of soft-skills, or «invisible knowledge» - through research and collections, through meetings on site - to give voice to the stories between the lines, the stories without a capital H that are passed on orally and physically between individuals or within communities.
For Marginália (working title), it's the materials of time and story that will become palpable. It's a kind of oratorio that invites to listen to the many voices and gestures of the present and project them into the future, their traces and resonances.
