Questioning the “seamless” zones where beings and things intertwine and hold one to another

Zones de contact is an invitation to explore, to feel, to think about the place of the encounter, the threshold, the space between the things and between the bodies. How does the body connect to its natural, vegetal, animal environment, to the visible and invisible, human and non-human, living and non-living matter? How to explore this zone of “lisièrement”/border where the beings and the things interlace, hold on each other and care about each other? A space of metamorphosis, as opposed to the situations that set the contact zones as impervious and strict boundaries.
Starting from these thematics of research, Vânia Vaneau invites collaborators from various fields to an immersive sharing with the public.
