FAIRES seeks to explore the correlations that exist between the dance gesture and the craft gesture, and proposes a starting hypothesis: ‘What if dance were a craft? This lengthy process is punctuated by periods of residency during which Jordi Galí meets craftspeople at work. And each stage of the residency gives rise to exploratory and ephemeral public attempts. The final object will be a published work that can transpose the conclusions through poetic writing, with a launch planned for 2027.
