Marginalia
Ongoing / 2027
An ethno-fictional investigation into marginal or invisible knowledge

Choreographer and danser - Artistic co-director
Trained in dance in Brazil and then at P.A.R.T.S in Brussels, Vânia Vaneau later obtained a Bachelor of Psychology at the University of Paris 8 and followed a training in Body Mind Centering. She has worked as an interpreter for Wim Vandekeybus, Maguy Marin, Yoann Bourgeois and Christian Rizzo.
She is co-director of the Cie Arrangement Provisoire alongside Jordi Galí since 2012.
From 2016 to 2020, she is an Associate Artist with Jordi Galí at the Pacifique CDCN in Grenoble and from 2020 to 2024 at ICI – CCN in Montpellier as part of the Ministry of Culture program. For the 2021-2022 season, she was Artist in Residence at CN D Lyon.
Vânia Vaneau is interested in the multiple physical and mental strata that make up the human body in a relationship of continuity with the natural and cultural environment in which it evolves and surrounds it. She explores the links between the inside and outside of the body, the visible and invisible materials by creating choreographies composed of a sensory and imaged plasticity.
