Towards a culture in transition

Arrangement Provisoire is part of a sustainable development approach, born from the ecological emergency that pushes to rethink lifestyles and artistic professions. Faced with environmental challenges, the company aspires to become an actor of change by responding to this crisis through concrete and measurable actions. The ambition is to contribute to the ecological transition of the cultural sector by adopting environmentally friendly practices without compromising its artistic value.

Since 2022, several training courses and workshops have fed this reflection and led to the writing of a charter of commitments (see below). It details the actions put in place and the objectives to come, and is intended as a tool for raising awareness among employees, partners, collaborator. s and public of the company.

CHARTER OF VALUES FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Creative / Design / Technical

Promote the recovery and recycling of materials for the construction of decors or the setting up of workshops. Better source the technical expenses: to be supplied locally or from eco-responsible suppliers.

Tour / Travel

Commitments are made to responsible food and low carbon transport where possible. Encourage vegetarian meals on tour. Encourage seasonal catering, if possible local and organic, in bulk. Limit the use of plastic (packaging, cutlery, gourds vs cups...). Optimize travel: share appointments, complementary actions to make a trip profitable (workshops with a representation...). Give priority to public transport, limiting travel in personal vehicles and reducing the use of aircraft, especially for European journeys. Respect outdoor play sites by ensuring that no waste is left after disassembly.

Administration

Attention paid to supplies (coffee/tea, ecological/recycled office supply) and the proper use of fluids (heating regulation, electricity consumption of the computer park, waste sorting, limited printing...). Sharing: tools, office spaces... Accountability for printing and paper use: use of recycled paper, limited to what can be sold/distributed. _Purchase of pre-owned equipment.

Staff

Promote a favourable framework and quality of life at work conditions for employees.Protect against all situations of discrimination or harassment in accordance with the legislation_Favoriser training, informing employees on VHSS, first aid,...

Reducing the digital footprint

Arrangement Provisoire wants to optimize its digital and therefore energy uses limit mails, sort to limit storage spaces... Promote digital companies that are committed to sustainable digital (internet hosting, storage...). Vigilance on the use of paper, use of local printers and/or ecological products (vegetable inks, FSC certified paper). An eco-designed website.

Awareness

Enhance our approaches and actions with the outside, in the professional network to advance practices, contribute to change. Insert the criteria of our charter in our media and documents (website, technical sheets, artistic files...). Through the tours of Nebula, Heliosfera and the next creation Mille Horizons, donations are collected for associations committed to sustainable development (protection of Amazonian forest and indigenous peoples, development of solar energy, child protection). The choice of associations is inspired by the themes of the shows.

Arrangement Provisoire wishes to continue and develop its activities within the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region by working with artists, professional networks and local structures. This approach promotes more sustainable development while maintaining reasoned national and international tours. Provisional Arrangement also participates in local initiatives, to strengthen cooperation between cultural structures and accelerate the ecological transition of the sector. Carbon balance as a tool for measuring and managing the carbon footprint (reduction objective in an estimate of equal activity over different seasons).
